Post A few ideas I had.

Proposal 1.

I propose that the weapons gained from typing /bonus act like the BMP weapons. Come clean and inscribable, also salvageable. My reasoning for this is because the mods on some of these just plain suck, while the skin is really nice.

I think this would be an improvement for the /bonus weapons and I cannot see any downsides.

The reason why I say to remove the mods, would be to prevent people from typing /bonus then just salvaging the mods. Removing the mods on the weapon would be the way to prevent "abuse" of the weapons' mods. And, making them inscribable only makes sense to me honestly.

Proposal 2.

Another Idea I had, to help add something to do other then title grinding and new characters *at least for the people who have played GW for a while* was the addition of another elite area, or possible "Semi-Elite" area.

There are two things that are hardly touched on that I think can be turned into Elite areas, or just hard simply hard areas.

The first area is the Wizard's Tower in Kessex Peak. It is currently unaccessible and the only thing we know about it is that "Galrath" and "Verata" both are/were trying to get some power that is locked inside the Castle. So what if the Elite Mission was to go inside the tower, work our way through enemies to the top, and find/lock away the power or kill someone who is also trying to get that power? It can work like a dungeon as well, except that instead of going "down" you will be going "up." To get access, add a NPC that takes you inside, maybe after killing Verata in Kessex Peak.

The second area that is possible would be Orr. The idea would be simple really, have tons of undead *maybe make them so they don't take double holy damage to help prevent farming* and have the players do a series of quests, like in FoW, UW, and DoA. Or, the goal could be to kill an "up-and-coming" lich *No, not Vizier Khilbron aka the Lich Lord*. Access could be gained from either Shards of Orr or from a nearby area in the Crystal Desert. There would be an outpost or 2 in Orr so that it isn't incredibly tough to get to.

Proposal 3.

This one is short and simple. Better rewards for Vanquishing. getting Experience and Gold that uses the equation of (Monsters killed)*5 is not a lot, times 10 would be much better, although I'd think 25 times is most reasonable, the amount times is up to debate in this thread. Another idea would be to add in a chest for each area, that gives crappy to good drops in relation to the amount of enemies in the area *areas like Griffon's Mouth and Ascalon's Foothills would get crappy drops from the chest, areas like Vlox Falls would get good drops*. Maybe a chest for getting Legendary Cartographer would be good as well. Both chests only occur once, for vanquishing per area, cartographer would be once after achieving either 100% for a continent or Legendary Cartographer.

Proposal 4.

Final Proposal *at least for now*. This is a two step proposal and is for LDoA. First, remove the ability to Death Level in pre. Second, add in another 2 Levels in the Catacombs in pre. The second level should consist of lvl 8-12 monsters, with a boss at the end that is level 15. Then the 3rd Level, you must be in a party of 2 to get into. This level will be filled with lvl 12-15 monsters, with a boss at the end that is lvl 18. Killing the lvl 18 boss would spawn a chest, which drops blues or purples, and a .1% chance of a *crappy* gold. The gold will only drop ONCE per character. That means, you cannot farm for the gold on one character. This "dungeon" would be designed to remove the death farming and AFK from the LDoA title. The dungeon should be made IMPOSSIBLE to solo completely and rather tough with 2 people, as to prevent getting LDoA and Survivor, but still making it possible to get both.

Well, thats my current 2 cents on how to help out GW until GW2 comes out. All ideas welcomed, if you disagree, PLEASE STATE WHY. If I get suggestions, I will update the ideas with those that work. PLEASE NO FLAMES OR TROLLS. Thanks.

Proposal 4 sounds like Q.Q because you can't have LDoA and Survivor. Both these titles are pointless and mean nothing. I move to remove them.

I have a survivor, I don't care personally about having them both, and I have given up on LDoA, never plan to do that again. I thought it would be more fun if the way to get LDoA was changed, and to help remove some already existing QQ, allow people to get both Survivor and LDoA. I personally don't care about the titles*because my title character has died and is from Cantha so always unable to get LDoA, and don't care bout titles on others*, I just want to see more to do in Pre, and a multi level Catacomb sounds good to me personally.

Do not post "A Few Ideas" threads. If you have more than one idea ---first double check with the search button and the index thread to make sure they're fresh suggestions, and create a separate thread for each one with a relevant title.

And I'm sure we already have one about LDoA and LS.
